97 Things Every Application Security Professional Should Know
Proud to be an O’Reilly author!
I don’t know if the first computer security book I read was Spafford and Garfinkel’s Practical Unix Security (O’Reilly, 1991). It probably was. I had to check with a real library, since the first edition predates Amazon. I don’t recall what else I might have read then, since Cheswick and Bellovin’s Firewalls and Internet Security was a few years later, in 1994. I know both were hugely influential in my intellectual development, and so I am exceptionally pleased to be able to say that with the release of 97 Things Every Application Security Professional Should Know, I am now an O’Reilly author, along with many friends and colleagues.
