  • There were widely circulated reports of voice cloning being used in phishing. I've been predicting these for a while (Threat modeling in 2018 at Blackhat, 28 minutes in), but Guillaume Ross asked some really good questions about it.
  • A new John Locke manuscript, "The Toleration of Papists" has been discovered and published. (Short analysis in the Guardian.)
  • Adversarial Fashion has a line of goods "designed to trigger Automated License Plate Readers, injecting junk data in to the systems used by the State and its contractors to monitor and track civilians and their locations." (Also, first non-Google use of webp graphics that I've noticed. It turns out that wordpress won't let you upload webp yet.)
