Worth Reading, 2.0
- The news that one of “Saturn’s moons is spewing water vapor” [link to http://news.com.com/Saturn+moon+spewing+water+vapor/2100-11397_3-6048326.html?tag=nefd.top no longer works] is worth reading because the universe is cool, Enceladus will have life found on it, and life will get more interesting.
- “Fix My Settings in IE7” is worth reading for user interface designers. I hope to see the idea exposed to some user testing to see how well it works–I think there are some areas for improvement, like issue enumeration on the page.
- “Oh, great, e-mail notifications” by Erik Rescorla is worth reading to learn how badly Chase Manhattan is mucking up user experience. Banks need to break the email habit to preserve the internet channel against attackers.
- “Microsoft Threat Analysis & Modeling v2.0.” [link to http://silverstr.ufies.org/blog/archives/000925.html no longer works] If only I had a Windows box handy, I could say if this is worth reading. [Update: There
