Google, Flat Earthers?
I visited maps.google.com, and tried going east from the default view. A press of the “right” button seems to move you about 1,500 miles east. A second press takes you, err, nowhere. Another 16 or so clicks should be bringing you to the West coast of the US, but no luck. (25000 miles/1500 miles per click leads to 16 clicks.)
Apparently, Google has decided the flat earth society is right. I wonder how they’re going to get their lunar offices going? Or maybe they could throw in a “There be dragons here” logo when you reach the edge?
